Morning Light Children's Home

Let me tell you a little bit about Morning Light Children's Home. It is located in Taitung City, Taiwan. Missionaries Luke and Deanna Pan help potential adoptive parents (PAP) adopt from Taiwan...along with all their other ministries. They do not run an orphanage yet, but that is their hope. You can check out their web site to see all that God is doing in their ministry. Keep them in your prayers as they try to find land and funds to build their orphanage. We have just sent off our application to them and are waiting to hear if we have been accepted. We are also working on our homestudy. When we hear that we are accepted by Morning Light we are put on the waiting list. It is not a first come, first serve list. The Pans pray about each child and ask God to direct them to the right family. I can't tell you how that touches my heart. We have no idea how long this will take. It could be fast or it could take a year. We believe in God's perfect timing. Just look at Jacob...he was meant for us and it took forever! lol After we have received a referral it takes about 6-9 months to get through the court system. When we are finished with the court process we get to travel to Taiwan to bring our precious son home. Here are some things you can pray for:

Pray for the son that God has for us.
Pray that we continue to seek Him through the ups and downs of the adoption process.
