Praise the Lord we have our first decree from the courts in Taiwan. We are beyond excited!!! Thanks to everyone who has been praying! Please continue to pray as we wait for final decree and travel plans.
Here is what we are looking at next: It takes 10 business days to get final decree…they have added a little step of paperwork that Deana has to do to get final decree, but we are praying that she can do that early so we won’t have to wait an extra wk to get the final decree documents. The final decree will need to be translated into English for AIT (American Institute in Taiwan) kind of like an US Embassy. When AIT gets our paperwork they can give us an appointment time and we can make travel plans! WooHoo!!!! Please pray that everything goes smoothly! With adoption you just never know when a roadblock can be thrown up to add more time and we are so ready to bring Carson home! We would love to be able to travel middle to late May.
In a few wks we are going to be taking our blog PRIVATE so if you would like to be able to keep up with it you will need to send me your email address to momtojake@att.net. We will feel more comfortable posting about our journey in Taiwan if it is not open to the public.

Maybe that dream I had about you on the plane to Taiwan was a kind of premonition. I am so happy and can't wait until you go and are finally able to hold your baby boy in your arms!
Congratulations on your first decree! That is a major hurdle. Thank you for asking people to pray for us as we travel to bring Isaac home.
