AIT Appointment

We had our AIT appointment today. We were there from 8am until around 11:30 answering questions, waiting, filling out forms, waiting...did I mention waiting. lol Finally we met with the Chief of Immigrations and he let us know what they have been worried about. It appears that when they were interviewing our birthmother she said some things that made them believe that she doesn't understand what it means to irrevocably release her rights to Carson. So after talking with him a while and telling him about our visit with the birthmom they have decided that if our birthmom would come to AIT with us and write out a statement that she understands that once she gives up Carson she has no rights to him, that they will go ahead and approve him for a VISA. So, she is taking the first flight to Taipei in the morning and we will meet with the chief around 11am. So, please pray she makes that first flight and that there will be no more little surprises for us. They are working hard to help us keep our return flight for tomorrow night. Thank you guys so much for your prayers and support! We are almost there! Can't wait to get on that plane and go see Jacob!! We miss you sweetie!!
