The last few days in Taitung have been emotional ones for Rodney and I. On Wednesday we got to visit Carson's village and meet the Pastor, his wife, and some people from the village that were friends with Carson's birthmother. Then on Thursday we were able to meet Carson's birthmother. This was a priceless gift! You could tell she was uncomfortable at first, but Carson started bouncing up and down...they started singing some of their tribal songs and Carson danced along!! It was GREAT and we got it all on video!! And then on Friday we had to say goodbye to our new friends the Pans. This was really difficult....they have cared for Carson from birth and you could see the love they have for him. He will always be the child of their hearts!! So off to Taipei we go!!
